This show (and the American version) were entertaining except at one time in my life I worked for a David Brent/Michael Scott. My manager absolutely WOULD NOT make a decision, take accountability for anything or keep his word. Worked for that company for over 20 years and that was the worst 30 months of my life.

Gervais' acting is genius (not in the inflated sense, in the true sense of the word) but what an amazing job by Stirling Gallacher as well. Imagine you have to play a serious part in a scene with Gervais who's made it his life's purpose to crack you up by coming up with an unplanned gesture, an adlibbed line, or an irresistibly funny face. Hat off to her.

子連れ狼は劇画で大変に人気が先行し主人公のイメージも出来上っていた。確かにその殺陣の凄さ、軽快な身のこなしさ等富三郎さんの右にでる役者さんはいない。だが個人的には本作に関しては完全なミスキャスだ。すごみのある代官か家老あたりが彼の適役だ。本作の出演権を無理やり収奪したとか。狼には苦悶を引きずるだけ身体にも鋭いシャープさも必要だ。肥満な彼からはどうもイメージが違う。高倉健さん、杉良太郎、または原作者が当初抱いていた渡哲也さん等にやってほしいと当時は感じていた。

Love 'Still Ill' and love this version. The combination of Morrissey's totally unique lyrics and Marr's wonderful guitar at its best....btw the rhythm section playing their part as well.
